On June 17 local time, Scooter Braun, the CEO of Ithaca Holdings - home to world-renowned pop stars Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, and J Balvin, recently shared on his personal Instagram account a set of mirror selfies with none other than HYBE's founder and CEO, and formerly Big Hit Entertainment, Bang Si Hyuk!

Around an hour after Scooter Braun's post, Australian rapper, singer, and songwriter, the Kid LAROI, also posted on his personal Instagram account pictures of him and Bang Si Hyuk, as they both hold up a cardboard sign that says, "Let LAROI Drop Stay!"

Previously, there has been speculation that The Kid LAROI and Tomorrow X Together are gearing up for a potential collaboration after Tomorrow X Together member, Taehyun, mentioned having received a message from The Kid LAROI himself.

HYBE Acquires Scooter Braun's Ithaca Holdings

Earlier this year in April, HYBE announced that it is merging with Scooter Braun's Ithaca Holdings through HYBE's subsidiary Big Hit America. HYBE had acquired a 100 percent stake in Ithaca Holdings with 1.7 trillion won ($1.5 billion USD) worth of shares from the entertainment label, making HYBE the new owner.

In addition to Ithaca Holdings, HYBE had also acquired its subsidiaries such as SB Projects, Big Machine Label Group, as well as now managing its artists, pop superstars Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, J Balvin, and Justin Bieber.

Simultaneously, as Scooter Braun hands over the reins to HYBE and Bang Si Hyuk, Scooter Braun joined the Board of Directors of HYBE, while Scott Borchetta, the CEO of Big Machine Label Group, will continue as its CEO.

As artists from both companies are now working together, HYBE is set to be one of the biggest entertainment companies, with its music focused on operating on a global scale.
