Woollim Entertainment's Low Rating and Reviews from Label's Former Employees Resurface
On November 4, a post titled "Woollim Entertainment's Job Planet review saying they are leaving one after another" was shared on the online community forum, The Qoo, and has been garnering attention.
In the post, it contains screenshots back from 2020 of reviews and ratings left by Woollim Entertainment's former employees on Job Planet, an online platform that provides crowdsourced information regarding an employer's culture, welfare, weaknesses, strengths, and job opportunities.
According to the post, Woollim Entertainment's corporate rating is at 1.8 out of 5 stars. The former employees left comments regarding the label's strengths, which include having good meals and free transportation.
On the other hand, they also left numerous comments stating their dissatisfaction, such as the label's general manager always screaming and cursing, and when the CEO is present, they have to say hello.
They also added that Woollim Entertainment is the most conservative and tight-knit label in the entertainment market, and that they treat employees like they are slaves with the endless overtime who are taken for granted.

The main complaints were towards their dissatisfaction with Woollim Entertainment's management.
Several former employees also revealed how the label treats their artists. One employee said, "Stop evaluating the artists' face and body. They are all prettier and better than you."
Another employee also talked about how there is a low ratio between artists and employees, stating that there are too many artists and too little employees, leading the latter to quit due to the amount of jobs they have to take.

Woollim Entertainment Announce Lovelyz' Disbandment
Meanwhile, Lovelyz recently decided not to renew their contracts with Woollim Entertainment after seven years, with seven out of the eight members planning to leave the label, while Baby Soul with renew her contract with Woollim Entertainment.
Given their contract is seven years, Lovelyz will officially disband on November 16.
The group's disbandment didn't come as a shock to many as Lovelyz hasn't released anything since 2020. A former entertainment reporter also revealed the real reason as to why they disbanded.
