The petition, titled "Petition for Suspension of Drama ****", was posted on the Blue House National Petition website on December 19.

The author wrote, "At the time, the production team said, 'We have no intention of doing so, and there is no setting anywhere in the script for male and female protagonists to participate in or lead the democratization movement.' However, in the current drama where the first episode aired, the heroine mistakenly saved a spy against the pro-democracy movement."

"There are clearly victims of activists who were tortured and killed during the democratization movement, and I think creating such a drama clearly undermines the value of the democratization movement," the author added.

Along with this, a song that was used during the democratization movement was used in a scene of the drama, which caused discomfort to viewers.

Over 200k Signs Petition to Cancel 'Snowdrop,' Attention is Focused on Blue House's Response

Following the petition that claimed that there is a historical distortion setting from the drama, more than 200,000 already signed the Blue House Petition that asks to scrap the series.

The majority of the comments sympathize with the content, but there are also opposing opinions that don't want to cancel it, such as, "Let's watch it more" and "Now, we should refrain from excessive criticism toward the drama that has finished its first broadcast."

Nevertheless, attention is focused on whether "Snowdrop" will end up just like SBS's "Joseon Exorcist," which was abolished just after two episodes over history distortion.
