BLACKPINK Jennie was once again mentioned by "Squid Game" star and veteran actor Lee Jung Jae. In a broadcast, Lee narrated how he met the female idol for the first time, revealing his feelings at that time.
On tvN's "You Quiz on the Block," which aired on the 12th, the scene where Lee Jung Jae appeared as a guest was aired and decorated the show's special segment, "Are there any benefits?".

During the broadcast, MC Yoo Jae Suk and Lee Jung Jae dishes on his relationship with top actor Jung Woo Sung, Hollywood star Leonardo DiCaprio and Global K-pop idol BLACKPINK Jennie.
The "Squid Game" star then unveiled that he met Jennie through Jung Ho Yeon, who also played a big role in the series.
"She was close to Jung Ho Yeon. Jennie came to the set with a coffee truck when Jung Ho Yeon was filming at the set of 'Squid Game,'" Lee said.
"The set immediately went into a riot. 'What time are you coming?' 'Are you coming before lunch or after lunch?'" he further explained the situation at that time.
When Jennie then arrived at the set, the multiple-award-winning actor confessed that it was kind of "awkward" for him to sit close with the "SOLO" singer. However, Jennie proved her kind personality when she approached the actor first and started a conversation.
"My mother is a big fan. That's why I'm Jennie."
The veteran host and comedian Yoo highlighted, "(Her mother) was going to name BLACKPINK's Jenny, Jae Hee, but she said it was Jennie because the pronunciation was similar," Lee Jung Jae replied with a smile and conveyed how honored he is.

In particular, in past broadcasts, Jennie unveiled that she was initially named Jae Hee (Lee Jung Jae's character name in his hit drama, "Sandglass") as her mother expected her to be a son, but when she turned out to be a daughter, Jennie's mother changed it to "Je Ni."

On the other hand, Jennie, a member of the group BLACKPINK, shared with fans her previous status when she went to Paris last year.
On the 12th, the "KILL THIS LOVE" singer posted several photos on her Instagram, including a shot of her on the balcony while admiring the sunset. Aside from the view, K-pop enthusiasts praised her natural beauty without makeup.
Amid members solo activities, BLINKs, the fandom of BLACKPINK, demanded YG Entertainment on the 11th to update on the quartet's group comeback, as they have been on a hiatus for over a year now since October 2020, the release date of their first full-length album, "THE ALBUM." As of date, the company is yet to release its official stand on this issue.
Currently, Jennie is communicating with fans through her personal YouTube channel and Instagram.
