Red Velvet Yeri once again proved that she's a "Maknae on Top" with her answer when asked if they will also come to KWANGYA, the worldview of SM Entertainment artists.
On March 24, girl group Red Velvet appeared in MBC FM4U's "Kim Shin Young's Hope Song" as special guests.
Red Velvet Yeri Draws Laughter When She Revealed THIS Reason Why They Need To Go to KWANGYA
In the radio show, members Irene, Wendy, Seulgi, Joy, and Yeri introduced and talked about their new mini-album, "The ReVe Festival 2022 - Feel My Rhythm" released on March 21.
DJ Kim Shin Young also highlighted the busy schedules of SM Entertainment artists, who have been frequently visiting the radio program to promote their respective releases.

While on the topic, DJ Kim then mentioned KWANGYA, the worldview under SMCU, and asked the quintet:
"TVXQ Changmin said that he's aiming to be the next director and move to KWANGYA in the second half of the year. I want to ask Red Velvet as well. What does KWANGYA mean to the group? Are you coming?"
Red Velvet then bursted into laughter when Yeri responded:
"I saw the (radio) script in advance, and we talked about it, but we don't have an idea. We are not familiar with it haha."
In response, DJ Kim explained Changmin's version of what is KWANGYA, adding:
"Changmin said, 'I don't know about (it), but if Lee Soo Man asks me to go, I will go.' Super Junior also said they didn't even know, but they would still follow along. What about Red Velvet?"
With this question, the quintet responded, "Of course, we will" in unison, but "Maknae on Top" Yeri proved that she's not having it when she added:
"Of course, I will. We have to fulfill our contracts (We are contract workers)."
Following her reply, netters particularly ReVeluvs (fandom of Red Velvet) expressed their thoughts on the savage response of the idol.
"Not Yerim saying KWANGYA is just an obligation."
"This girl doesn't really have a filter lol."
"No haha, Yeri indirectly saying they have no choice but to go to KWANGYA."
Red Velvet Shares Feelings on 'Feel My Rhythm' Release After 8 Months
On the other hand, Red Velvet members celebrated the successful release of "The ReVe Festival 2022 - Feel My Rhythm."
On the same show, DJ Kim Shin Young praised the group for recording 510,000 pre-order copies alone and became a half-million seller.
Seulgi answered:
"It's been 9 years since my debut, and my parents say they buy it themselves. My parents order everything. I didn't know, but my mom said she ordered five albums. My aunts also buy posters and albums."
In regards to their new release after eight months of hiatus, Irene conveyed her feelings and replied:
"Even though it's been nine years since my debut, I was nervous as a rookie when I introduced the song. That's why we always prepare."
On the other hand, "Feel My Rhythm" is a song that samples Bach's "Air on a G String." The lyrics along with Red Velvet's fantastic vocals show the five-member group enjoying a new imaginary trip across time and space.
