On May 1, Stray Kids held the last show of the South Korean leg of their 2022 world tour "MANIAC." The concert was held at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Seoul.

For starters, Bang Chan was born in South Korea but he and his family moved to Sydney, Australia. This explains why he is fluent in speaking in English. In 2010, he passed a local audition for JYPE when he was only 13 years old. He later moved to Korea in 2011 to begin his training.

Bang Chan is known to have trained and became friends with the members of GOT7, DAY6, and TWICE. He trained for seven years while he watched his friends debut without him. Fortunately, Chan's hard work paid off as he ultimately debuted as a Stray Kids member in March 2018.

At the concert, Stray Kids Bang Chan said, "I remember the time when I started. I came here for the first time in April 2011 and was 14 years old."

He continued, "At that time. I left everything behind, including my family and friends at such a young age to chase my dream. And as I got used to it, my emotions seemed to disappear. It was really hard to find someone who understands me."

Bang Chan further said, "As you know, there were times when it was difficult. There was a time when everyone, except me, was cut off as a trainee. I felt really lonely. Since then, I have gotten colder and less emotional."

Although he went through a tough time, he was able to see better days thanks to the company and his fellow Stray Kids members.

"Thankfully, the company took good care of me, so I managed to be here right now. And these guys (members), they got me and understood me even if they don't know my story well. I'm grateful to the members and to the many people who understand me."

Bang Chan then said that there were times when he cried all night because of his worries.
