BLACKPINK's Jisoo recently appeared as a guest on Season 2 of the YouTube series "Not Much Prepared," where she discussed various topics, including the pressure of being the last member to make a solo debut, her personal life, and the rumored conflicts between BLACKPINK members. Additionally, Jisoo expressed her thoughts on the group's diet struggles.
Pressure of Solo Debut
Jisoo, being the last member of the group to debut solo, was also asked if she felt pressured about it. The BLACKPINK visual replied that she doesn't think much of it and that's probably her strength.
"You know when someone else does something and I feel like I can't do it as well as them. It's okay, it's their work." Host Lee Young Ji praised Jisoo for her healthy mindset and resilience.
This is far cry from her previous interview where the BLACKPINK member shared that she feels more pressure when she is on stage, as she is afraid of making mistakes. This fear also sometimes prevents her from fully relaxing and enjoying her performances, making her stage experiences feel more like an exam.
With these changes, fans are happy that Jisoo is becoming a more positive person. One commenter even said, "Her wisdom and emotional stability still shines through beyond her years. Much respect!"
Personal Life and Coping with Loneliness
Jisoo admitted that she sometimes feels depressed but bounces back quickly. She believes that she should be strong for the many people who wait for her. Jisoo also shared that she enjoys her own company and doesn't feel empty when alone, revealing that her friends understand and respect her need for solitude.
BLACKPINK's Diet Struggles
In one part of the show, Jisoo shares how she loves hot pot, and she always looks for a Chinese restaurant abroad where she could get one. However, restaurants abroad always close early so she would call in advance saying, "please, I'll be there by 8."
This revelation surprised Lee Young Ji, saying "This is my girl! I haven't met a celebrity who likes Budak ramen and hot pot. It's only you who likes it and you're also wearing red today."
To which Jisoo answered, "yes, it's me. It's me."
Then the conversation took a more serious turn when the host asked how hard it must be for Jisoo not to be able to eat a lot during working or when on tours. Jisoo immediately agreed.

"Yes that's right." Then continued to say, "but you know, all my group mates are skinny and compared to them, I have to lose weight." Lee Young Ji had actually interrupted Jisoo before finishing her sentiments and went on to say that the world must be going crazy.
Addressing BLACKPINK Members Conflict Rumors
Towards the end of the show, Jisoo addressed the rumors of discord between BLACKPINK members that surfaced last year. She revealed that the group members laugh when they see those rumors and treat them as a joke, teasing each other about the rumors.
"We laugh when we see those kinds of things." Then went on to share, "they say that I am your competition, so be careful, or 'why didn't you post it on Instagram, you're gonna start a rumor.'"
"Sometimes we even teasingly say, you should have promoted my album, etc. But at the end of the day, we just treat these things as a joke." This candid conversation reveals the strong bond between BLACKPINK members and how they handle rumors with humor and understanding.
Jisoo's candid and honest discussion of her personal life and diet struggles, and the rumors of conflict between group members provides fans with a better understanding of the challenges faced by the popular K-pop group. As Jisoo continues to promote her first solo album "ME," fans can look forward to more behind-the-scenes insights into the lives of BLACKPINK members.
