In an assertive move against the rising tide of online harassment, (G)I-DLE, the popular K-pop group, has announced their intention to pursue legal action against malicious commenters.

Cube Entertainment, the agency representing (G)I-DLE, issued an official statement on the 15th, highlighting a disturbing trend of malicious online behavior targeting their artists.

The statement outlined various forms of abuse endured by the group, including malicious slander, dissemination of false information, invasion of privacy, and even sexual harassment. The agency expressed grave concern over the increasing frequency of such incidents.

In response, Cube Entertainment vowed to uphold the rights and dignity of their artists, employing a multi-pronged approach involving active monitoring of fan reports and data collection.

Moreover, the agency declared its intent to pursue aggressive legal action through a specialized law firm, leaving no room for leniency or negotiation with perpetrators.

Amidst these developments, (G)I-DLE recently marked their return with the release of their second full-length album, '2,' on the 29th of the previous month.

Hello. This is Cube Entertainment.

Recently, malicious posts and comments that damage the image and reputation of artists, such as malicious slander, spread of false information, invasion of privacy, sexual harassment, and production and distribution of false productions, have been occurring indiscriminately.

Accordingly, we plan to prevent artists' smooth activities and infringement of rights through information reported by fans and continuous self-monitoring and data collection, and will take strong civil and criminal measures through a professional law firm. We inform you once again that there will be no agreement.

If fans discover any cases of illegal activity related to the above, we ask that you actively report them to our official account.
