What Will Be Sunny's Next Move After Leaving SM Entertainment? SONEs Hope for Solo Debut

After working with SM Entertainment since 2007 as Girls Generation, she quit the company in August 2023, hinting at a new start.

Aside from wanting to take another path, Sunny is also known as the niece of Lee Soo Man, the former executive producer of SM Entertainment. Lee also left the label last year, which is said to be one of the reasons she considered leaving the company.

Despite that, she expressed gratefulness to SM, who helped her since her debut as a 19-year-old idol aspirant and led her to create happy memories with her co-SNSD members and SONEs.

After coming back on social media and TV 7 months after departure from SM, she asked for a lot of attention and love for her new content.

Through her new post, her supporters are not only cheering her on her new show, but fans are also wishing her to find her nest and release her solo album.

While Sunny is also a part of the vocalist line of Girls' Generation, she is the only member who is yet to have her solo debut. So far, the only solo songs she has were mostly under their group albums, SM Station releases and OSTs.

With her excellent and honey-like vocals, fans are looking forward to what kind of release she will have once she decides to open her journey as a soloist.
