IVE Jang Wonyoung Praised for Live Vocals, Unique Vocal Color: 'Thousand Years Idol'

IVE Jang Wonyoung is earning praise from netizens for her stable live vocals and unique vocal color.

On May 30, a post, titled "Jang Wonyoung really became a thousand years idol," was uploaded to Instiz, a well-known South Korean online community forum.

In the post, the original poster included a tweet that reads:

"Jang Wonyoung is so good at singing live that I feel like vomiting in a good way. I feel like she delivers her low-pitched voice even better in live performances than in their digital versions. The way she sings the 'tam-i-tam-i-na' part is seriously making me lose my mind, f*ck."

The tweet also includes a video of Jang Wonyoung singing IVE's song "HEYA" live.

The poster added that during IVE's early debut days, Jang Wonyoung was a victim of harsh criticism and forced hate. Instead of shrugging the comments off, she used them as healthy feedback to improve. Her improvement has not gone unnoticed, with people saying her constant will to become better is touching to see as a fan.

With this, K-pop fans agreed. Besides her live vocal skills, people loved the idol's low-tone voice, saying her voice sounds the best when hitting low notes. They added that after years as an idol, Jang Wonyoung has found the vocal color that suits her now.

Many people praised Jang Wonyoung for her improvement, noting that she is always busy but always finds time for self-improvement. They added that she was never a bad singer, but she is even better now.

Some comments read:
