K-Netz Express Concern For LE SSERAFIM Hong Eunchae Amid Growing Hate

Korean netizens are growing concerned for LE SSERAFIM's maknae Hong Eunchae due to the growing hate she is receiving.

On June 1, a post titled "Hong Eunchae must be having a hard time" was uploaded to Instiz, a well-known online community forum from South Korea.

In the post, the original poster noted that out of all the LE SSERAFIM members, she is the one receiving the most hate comments right now. It doesn't help that she is the member with the most schedules, while the others appear to be resting.

Not only is she the host of MBC's music program "Music Bank," she also has her own YouTube show, "Eunchae's Star Diary." It was noted by Korean netizens that with every upload, Hong Eunchae is bombarded with a barrage of hate comments. For reference, she is only 17 years old.

LE SSERAFIM as a whole has been criticized for their live vocal skills during their "EASY" encore stages, and the hate only intensified after their Coachella performances.

However, Hong Eunchae is receiving the most backlash. Back in March, the members of LE SSERAFIM were reading comments during a Weverse livestream. There, they read comments from fans who expressed burnout from school. As the other members consoled the fan, Hong Eunchae laughed and sarcastically replied, "You're all attending school, right? It must be tough."

During another broadcast in September 2022, she stated that she didn't understand why people need to go to school. Many criticized the idol for her remarks, stating she was belittling people who were studying. However, now people say the hate against the idol has gone too far.

They noted that it must be hard to continue working when so many people are criticizing her every move. They claim that she is this generation's biggest target, as all of her moves on her show and on "Music Bank" are being nit-picked by haters.

While many believe she needs to apologize, they do not think she deserves this level of hate. They hope that HYBE is protecting Hong Eunchae from the malicious comments, and expressed their hopes that she will be given the chance to rest soon.
