NewJeans stormed social media with their emergency press conference on November 28, when the members announced their departure from ADOR.

The incident was trailed by the group's newest statement addressing the termination of their contract under the company.

According to the group's statement on November 29, NewJeans recounted the events leading up to the termination and pointed out ADOR's shortcomings. They also shared that the termination will be effective on the 29th.

"We were signed under ADOR, the agency that has the responsibility and duty to manage us diligently. We made our final request to ADOR on November 13 to rectify their breaches. However, the 14-day rectification period concluded and ADOR has refused to correct the issues."

"As ADOR's former artists, we have fulfilled our contractual obligations, and our contract termination was only due to ADOR's breach of duty, and we are not liable for penalties. The five of us don't want to hurt anyone affected by our contract termination and we will diligently comply with all contractual obligations before its conclusion."

NewJeans then stated that the group could no longer maintain its relationship with ADOR since doing so would lead to emotional distress. Moreover, they also assured fans that they would do their best to put out new music and content despite the obstacles.

"This decision was made after a long and thorough contemplation. We can no longer remain at ADOR, which failed to do its basic duty of protecting its artists, and keeping up with the company would only cause us extreme emotional distress. Thus, we have decided to leave ADOR."

"We are also hurt and shocked by the media play that is based on nothing but false facts. We hope that this will not happen after our contract termination. We will continue to do our best to bring you good music, and we thank you for your support for us in the future."

ADOR has previously acknowledged NewJeans' press conference and denied any of the alleged violations claimed by the members. The company also shared hopes of having a meeting with the members for a resolution.
