Lucas has received mixed reactions for his guest appearance at a Filipino noontime show "ASAP" on December 1. The program celebrated the holiday season through its "All-Out Sundays" episode.
According to numerous clips uploaded on social media, Lucas performed his single "Renegade" on stage. The soloist also managed to sneak in a brief interaction with the hosts and expressed how grateful he was to be on the program.
Lucas' guesting at "ASAP" is also a warm-up appearance for the idol, as he is also included in the performer lineup at the "V1BE MANILA 2024: AKON THE SUPERFAN TOUR" on December 3.
"I'm feeling very happy and excited to be here again," Lucas said. "I missed my fans a lot, I hope you guys love the performance and enjoy the show."

Fans of Lucas were filled with joy seeing him appear at the program, as many welcomed him and commended his performance.
However, some weren't very pleased with the idol's guesting due to his controversial past with his ex-girlfriends.
Following his scandal in August 2021, Lucas uploaded a handwritten apology on his official Instagram account.
This was subsequently followed by SM Entertainment's confirmation of his hiatus and eventual departure from NCT and WayV.
