Hearts2Hearts, set to make its official debut on February 24, has unveiled the names of its members.

Much like the iconic SM groups f(x) and EXO over a decade prior, Hearts2Hearts' entire lineup was crafted from a pool of secret trainees, skipping the traditional pre-debut showcase through SMROOKIES.

The excitement surrounding Hearts2Hearts intensified after the 2025 SMTOWN Live concert held on January 11 and 12 in Seoul, where the female act captivated fans and ignited lively discussions about its potential lineup.

Carmen, one of the talented members, quickly captured the spotlight for being SM's first-ever Indonesian idol.

Joining her are a vibrant lineup of Korean talents: Jiwoo, Haram, Jooeun, Yuna, Leean, Nayeon, and Dahyun (who is notable for having a Korean-Canadian dual citizenship), as per a Star News report.

The girl group boasts a youthful charm with an average age of 17, featuring talented members born between 2006 and 2010.

When the report made its way to the Korean forum theqoo, K-Netz eagerly shared their thoughts about SM debuting a group primarily made up of Korean members. They particularly noted that Hearts2Hearts' lineup differs from the diverse lineups of previous groups like NCT and aespa, which feature many foreign talents.

"I like that there are a lot of Koreans," a fan wrote.

"It would have been nice if all the members were Korean, but it is already better since they have no Chinese and Japanese members," another internet user commented.

Some K-Netz also expressed a deeper concern, with one netizen stating, "If you have experience with Indonesian fans, you'd know why you'd hate an Indonesian member. Those fans are really..."

Most comments expressed joy that the majority of Hearts2Hearts members are Koreans, with a palpable sense of relief that there are no Chinese or Japanese members in the mix.

Despite the generally favorable reception of Carmen, many Korean netizens express reservations about including her in the lineup due to their negative perception of the Indonesian fandom culture.

"I experienced it... Jealousy, extremes, and obsession are no joke. If you treat them wrongly, they will act the most extreme," a netizen claimed.

"There are Indonesian members who are more of a headache than Chinese, Japanese, and Thai members," another user concurred.
