K-pop legend G-Dragon, whose real name is Kwon Ji-Yong, is set to make a comeback with his third full-length studio album, Übermensch.

G-Dragon announced the album in a teaser video he posted on his official social media page on Tuesday.

The video featured two silhouettes walking toward each other through dreamlike, colorful lighting, merging to form the 'Ü' logo of Übermensch.

The teaser includes a heartbeat sound layered over crowd cheers, building anticipation for the release.

Übermensch will be released on Feb. 25. It will mark G-Dragon's first full-length studio album since COUP D'ETAT, which he released nearly 11 years and 5 months ago. It is unclear how many songs his new album will include.

Prior to his announcement, G-Dragon released two singles last year, including "POWER" in October—which marked his first solo release in more than seven years. He also released "HOME SWEET HOME" in November in collaboration with BIGBANG members Taeyang and Daesung.

Their collab song topped major Korean music charts for two consecutive months. He performed the track in his appearance at the 2024 MAMA Awards in Osaka, Japan.

Beyond his music career, G-Dragon is also set to host MBC's new reality show, "Good Day," produced by Kim Tae-ho. The program will premiere on February 16, 2025, airing simultaneously on MBC and Disney+.

Directed by Kim Tae Ho, the show will see G-Dragon working with people from different fields as part of an effort to create the Song of the Year. He will specifically act as the producer, turn the stories of the people he meets into music, and show viewers an in-depth look into his creative process.

The singer announced his appearance on "Good Day" in an Instagram post in late January, with the caption: "Good day, everyday! Shall we sing together? Sunday. Coming Soon."
