Is This BIGBANG G-Dragon or EXO Xiumin? Trending Image Has K-Netz Confused

A photo is going viral in South Korea, with many unable to tell if the individual in the picture is BIGBANG's G-Dragon or EXO's Xiumin.

On June 12, 2024, a post titled "I was confused whether this was G-Dragon or Xiumin at first" was uploaded to Instiz, one of the most well-known South Korean online community forums.

In the post, the original poster shared a black-and-white image of a man. In the photo, a man is seen staring at the camera, puffing up his cheeks and slightly scrunching his nose. His bangs frame his face and lightly graze the bridge of his nose.

With his circular eyes and puffy cheeks, Korean netizens initially thought the person in the photo was Xiumin of EXO. The male idol is famous for his marshmallow-like visuals, baby face, and chubby cheeks.

However, it is not Xiumin in the photo. It is actually G-Dragon!

This is not the first time the two have been compared. In fact, fans have stated that from certain angles, they look nearly identical. This is likely due to their similar face and eye shape.

Some still couldn't believe that it was G-Dragon, stating that the photos made them extremely confused. People claimed that the photo made them realize how much the two male idols look alike.

In June 2024, it was announced that G-Dragon would be a visiting professor at the Korean Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) for two years. There, he will give leadership lectures to students of the university.

Xiumin, on the other hand, is currently in a legal battle with SM Entertainment. The company filed a lawsuit against him, Chen, and Baekhyun to enforce the fulfillment of their contracts. Previously, representativevs of the three idols claimed the company ignored the negotiated terms of their contract.
