Kim Fields' Facts of Life: She's Pregnant! [VIDEO] Tootie is "Very, Very Blessed" After Previous Pregnancy Loss; Castmate George Clooney's Congratulations Due?

Facts of Life Star Kim Fields, who played Tootie on the hit 80s sitcom, is pregnant!

Kim Fields appeared on talk show The Real and made the pregnancy announcement.  She is expecting her second child with her husband, Christopher Morgan. According to People magazine, she has already chosen the name Quincy Xavier for the baby boy.

Kim Fields told the hosts of The Talk that "We're very very blessed."

Kim Fields said of the pregnancy: "It was planned.  We actually have been trying for a couple of years. Funny enough, when God says 'This is when it's going to be' then that's when it was" ... Funny enough, I thought I was starting to get pre-menopausal because certain things were starting to be a little irregular and then other symptoms started coming."

Kim Fields and Christopher Morgan have a 6-year old son Sebastian.

The Facts of Life was a spin off from Diff'rent Strokes set at a private all-girls school, Eastland School.  Kim Fields played Dorothy "Tootie" Ramsey.  Other stars on The Facts of Life included Molly Ringwald, Mindy Cohn, Nancy McKeon, George Clooney, and Cloris Leachman - a star-studded cast who are sure to congratulate their castmate!  The Facts of Life had 9 seasons and TV movies made.

Kim Fields discussed her experiences on the Facts of Life with Parade magazine:

"I was never pushed into the industry. I was a very shy child. I was not one to perform for friends and family at every get-together. When my mom [actress Chip Fields] started going to acting classes out here in New York, we couldn't afford a baby sitter. And so she took me to the acting classes just because, well, what else was she going to do with me? And there were other kids there whose parents couldn't afford sitters either. We would keep ourselves entertained by imitating what we saw them doing, and that kind of birthed acting classes for the younger kids. In that crop was Danielle Spencer, who played Dee on 'What's Happening.' Her father was a ridiculously tremendous actor named Tim Pelt who we lost some time ago in a horrible car crash."

"'Facts of Life' was and continues to be a milestone on my journey. But when people act like the journey ended when 'Facts of Life' ended, that's annoying. I could never and would never want to divorce myself from it because it was such a great experience from so many different facets. I got a tremendous education - my literal education from schooling but also the education from the on-the-job training. The fantastic group of people that I've worked with as cast members and crewmembers; we continue to be good friends. I love showing up to a set and there's a camera guy I worked with as a child and now we're equals - it's just fantastic to me."
