Lady Gaga recently got her nose pierced...and uploaded a video of the whole thing. Scroll down to watch.

Lady Gaga, 27, was in Chicago and decided to take a videotape of her nose getting pierced...rather than doing things the normal way and showing off a pic of the nose afterwards. Gaga she stopped by a piercing parlor and calmly sat through the whole affair.

The video was taken and uploaded by the "Born This Way" singer's makeup artist, Tara Savelo,

Piercer Steve Bennett also Instagrammed a pic of himself with Gaga, saying, Getting hype with Lady Gaga at my studio in Chicago. (pierced her septum with 16 anatometal seamless)."

When asked about the event, he replied, "She was so fun and full of energy. It was such a pleasure meeting her. Cannot wait till her new album is released!"

The video might have some new music in the backrground. Gaga's new 2013 album, Artpop, will drop soon and fans speculate that the dance music in the background might be a new track from the ablum. Savelo wrote, "The music's not from the album, it's from the experience xoxo".

However, this means that the track might appear on the mobile app that will accompany the release-and Gaga's Little Monsters are excited.

Gaga will be making her first performance after having surgery at the Video Music Awards on August 25^th. She'll debut her new single then.
