As "Glee" prepares to film season 5, former and current cast member including Lea Michele gathered for a memorial for Cory Monteith.

According to Fox News, the memorial was led by Cory Monteith's real-life girlfriend Lea Michele and "Glee" show creator Ryan Murphy Thursday.

They reportedly shared good memories and of course, music, in "an emotional celebration" of Monteith's life as well as "Glee."

In addition, Ryan Murphy has confirmed that Lea Michele has agreed to filming the two planned Beatles tribute episodes for "Glee" season 5, as well as a tribute episode for Cory Monteith with the cast.

As a result of this tragedy, "Glee" season 5 will premiere September 26 instead, one week later than originally planned, before going on hiatus after the three episodes so the team can write new material.

After the memorial, cast member Chris Colfer shared a touching Instagram message to "Glee" fans and Cory Monteith.

"I'll never forget all the laughs we shared or the faces we made after awkward interview questions. Love and miss you, buddy."
