DMX Arrested Again With DUI Charge [VIDEO], But Publicist Claims Only No License Charge For 'We Right Here' Rapper: Who Do You Believe?

DMX arrested again for what was believed a DUI charge in South Carolina as well as not having a license until his publicist came out and said these allegations were not true.

The New York rapper has a reputation of arrest and jail stints, but his publicist insisted that this time it was different. DMX was taken to Greenville County Detention Center and released within an hour with no DUI charge, according to his publicist.

"Allegations about DMX being arrested for drunk driving are false," Domenick Nati, the publicist for DMX told MTV News in a statement claiming the DUI charge is false. "He was arrested early this morning but quickly released.

X was given a breathalyzer test and easily passed it. He is back at his home in South Carolina and we are continuing our focus on his upcoming album and acting roles."

This wasn't the first time this year that DMX was arrested for not having his license on him. In February, DMX was arrested again while driving with a suspended license again in South Carolina with a 1978 Buick.

"No, I didn't have a license ... put the cuffs on me; brought me here. I paid the money. Basically, just five hours wasted for nothing," he told a local Fox station after the February arrest.

The Detention Center hasn't publicly announced anything in regards to DMX arrest.

"He is back at his home in South Carolina and we are continuing our focus on his upcoming album and acting roles," Nati told MTV News.

Since becoming a popular artist with hits like "What's my Name?" handcuffs became common place for the rapper. Some of his arrest and jail time included animal cruelty, reckless driving, unlicensed driving, drug possession, identity falsification and multiple violations of parole.
