Johnny Depp is dating Amber Heard, but she revealed she is also proud to be bisexual.

Heard first came out as bisexual in 2010, and says she doesn't regret revealing her sexuality. 'I didn't want to look like I was hiding anything,'  Amber Heard, 27, said.. 'I'm not, and wasn't ever, ashamed.'

Heard graced the cover of Elle and dished on Johnny Depp. Convention's not her thing, she said.

'I don't imagine myself, my work, or my life, fitting into any kind of standardised path,' she said, hinting at her relationship with Johnny Depp, 50. 'In fact, the idea of there even being a standard freaks me out a lot.'

Paranoia, which Amber will co-star in with Liam Helmsworth will soon be released. The film regards an entry-level employee dealing with power, spying, and intrigue.

Heard said of the film,

"I loved how you're dealing with a lot of old themes like greed and power, but it's such a modern story.

'My character basically had to be smart enough to manipulate Liam Hemsworth's character."

'Yes, there are sex scenes, but it wasn't like she was falling at his feet," she said in another recent interview.

Amber Heard and Liam Helmsworth costar in Paranoia, slated to be released soon, and generally speaking, Heard, 27, likes to play characters that are "'somehow empowered or strong."

'People want to put me in a wedding dress and make me the object of affection, but I'd much rather shoot the gun and save the world.

'I've always fought against what was expected of me as much as I could,' Heard said.
