Users of Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 3G variant can now install the official Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update to their devices.

Following the release of official Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update for Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 LTE, Samsung has now rolled out the official firmware update for the 3G version of the flagship tablet device.

Those with Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 bearing the model number GT-N5110 can now install the official Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update. You can get the firmware via over-the-air or OTA method or through the Samsung Kies (for those in Germany).

Meanwhile, users of Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 with 3G who are located in other areas of the world can expect the official firmware update to Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean in the coming weeks.

This latest update provides improvements on the level of performance of the Samsung Galaxy Not 8.0. Reportedly, some of the changes are the better support for S Pen, lock screen widget and DayDream functions.

As the News Tribe specified, the official Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update for Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 will "feature battery power level and toggle menu in the status bar, improved task switching, an updated keyboard and many small bug fixes and refinements." Moreover, the post reads, "In the TouchWiz UX, users will also find a number of new features such as improved launcher, weather widget and new lock screen with widgets support similar to what is seen in the Samsung Galaxy S4."
