As "Once Upon a Time" season 3 prepares for it September 29 premiere, spoilers reveal that Ariel has been cast with JoAnna Garcia in the role, along with Tinkerbell with Rose McIver.

The Hollywood Reporter confirms that the anticipated role of Ariel from "The Little Mermaid" will be played by Garcia, who is famous for her stint on "Reba" and the short-lived "Animal Practice."

Reportedly, Ariel is only confirmed for two episodes in "Once Upon a Time" season 3, but it is highly possible the character stint will be extended should she be well-received.

The role of Ariel was first teased during Comic-Con in a sneak peek teaser, and has since been embroiled in spoilers.

In addition to Ariel, "Once Upon a Time" season 3 will also introduce Tinkerbell, played by Rose McIver.

According to Adam Horowitz, Tinkerbell will have connections to not one, but two main characters!

With so many new characters, the question becomes, which one will be in Neverland, and which one will be in Storybrooke?

Based on the Comic-Con teaser for Ariel, it seems the Mermaid will likely have something to do with the residents in Storybrooke.

And in addition, spoilers confirm that like Tinkerbell from the Disney classic, she will likely be involved in the storyline in Neverland.
