Upcoming Android Phones 2013: Android Phone Gets Fingerprint Scanner As Well, Settings Option Photo Leaked

For HTC, the smartphone battle for supremacy would not end unless it has already become bankrupt. And because that may still be too far in the future (if they can't get their act together), they are doing whatever they can to get a portion of the market share from Apple and Samsung.

They can get their own fingerprint scanner, right?

And that's what they did, or so according to a post by an ePrice member. The individual posted several pictures which shows the HTC One Max's rumored fingerprint scanner features. In one photo, it showed a portion of the smartphone's backside cutoff, just below the camera flash. According to rumors, this is where the fingerprint scanner would be placed.

Here's the photo.

In another photo, it appeared the rumor is not only limited to the phone's hardware.

It showed a group of settings with the fingerprint icon on the left part. I don't know what that means to you but it might be that the tip is accurate.

HTC has yet to confirm or deny the rumors. We just have to wait until its upcoming launch on September 4, alongside Samsung's Galaxy Note 3.

According to rumors, the HTC One Max will have a quadcore 2.3Ghz Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, 3,300mAh battery, and Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie out of the box. It also boasts HTC's very own 4MP-ultrapixels camera.
