Borderlands 2 GOTY Edition release date has already been announced.

MTV Multiplayer reported about Borderlands 2 GOTY Edition release date, which apparently is already set for October 8 in North America. Furthermore, the Game of The Year Edition of the shooter and RPG game from 2K and Gearbox will be available on all platforms.

Moreover, Borderlands 2 GOTY Edition release date is scheduled on October 11 for other countries. Reportedly, Borderlands 2 GOTY Edition will be available for only $59.99 but will include contents that are worth more than a hundred dollar bucks.

According to a post from IGN, gamers who will purchase Borderlands 2 GOTY Edition will get a copy of the main game, as well as the 4 campaign add-ons including Captain Scarlett and her Pirate's Booty, Sir Hammerlock Big Game Hunt, Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage and Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Kee. Furthermore, part of the GOTY Edition of Borderlands 2 are the contents included in "Premiere Club" such as Krieg the Psycho, Gaige the Mechromancer, the Gearbox Gun Pack, Vault Hunter's Relic and a Golden Key.

There are also reports emerging that indicate a possibility for Borderlands 2 to arrive to PS Vita next year.
