Pokemon X And Y English Demo To Grace The Nintendo Experience Tour: 2DS To Release Alongside Pokemon On October 12

Pokemon X and Y will be released worldwide October 12, and it seems U.S. fans will finally have a chance to experience the demo on the Nintendo Experience Tour.

"Get ready to go hands-on with Wii U and Nintendo 3DS systems and the hottest new games during the Nintendo Experience, coming to 12 different Simon Mall locations from Aug. 31-Nov. 3, 2013," says the official Nintendo Experience description.

In addition to Pokemon X and Y demo, the Tour may also include The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, Wii Party U, Pikmin 3, Donkey Kong Country Returns, and Mario & Luigi: Dream Team.

The Pokemon X and Y demo will be the same English demo that has been seen during the Pokemon Game Show and Gamescom, and will be available at the following locations/dates:

In addition, it appears that October 12 will also be the release date of the Nintendo 2DS, an announcement which has caused polarizing reactions.

Evidently, the Nintendo 2DS will have the same capabilities as a 3DS, only without the 3D function. The system will also not fold over, but is one large flat device.
