With the "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie casting remains a surprise, people are really raising the hype up as they continue to keep the movie-going public in suspense.

The much-awaited film adaptation of the controversial novel has been the buzz lately, with fans burning in anticipation as to who will play the seemingly-perfect hunk of a millionaire "Christian Grey" and the innocent virgin he ensnares with his charms, "Anastasia Steele".

Unfortunately, the gods-that-be behind the production line are so tight-lipped about the whole casting thing that fans can only guess - and hope. 

Producer and president of Trigger Street Productions Dana Brunetti said in his radio interview with Northwest Prime in blogtalkradio.com, "One thing that I don't want to talk about that everybody wants to know about, but you sort of need to read all three (books) to know the cast that you're going to bring in because we need to have them for all of them and we need to know where their characters are going."

He adds, "The characters that EL (James)'s written are pretty complex and amazing so it makes it pretty difficult to cast, honestly, but we're in that process now."

But the lack of solid info about the Fifty Shades of Grey movie casting doesn't deter fans from guessing and rooting for their favorites.  For the role of Christian Grey, 35-year old Matt Bomer, best known for his role as Neal Caffrey in "White Collar," is one of the top fan choices. 

But International Business Times says, "Sources close to the production studio claim however that Matt Bomer is unlikely to be considered for the lead part. Yet, everyone knows that multitudes of fans are rooting for Bomer to play the part."

As for Anna Steele, The Sun says that "Daenerys Stormborn Targaryen" 26-year old Emilia Clarke is a top contender for the role. 

One thing that Brunetti confirms (in jest), "I can tell you, it won't be Ben Affleck."
