NSYNC is not going to reunite, because the VMAs reminded them of how much they hate each other.

Sure, there were only 90 seconds aired of the NSYNC MTV Video Music Award performance, but it was enough to bring the past flooding back.

And it was bad.

Eleven years ago, NSYNC rocked the preteen world...and they're gonna stay in the past, apparently.

Band member Chris Kirkpatrick said,

"It was funny because all of us getting back together we remembered what we love about each other and what we hate about each other."

When asked about a possible reunion, Lance Bass said,

"It would be lovely to do it, but we've got nothing planned."

One reason is that Justin Timberlake is going on a solo tour...but the performance was probably a one-off.

"Who knows what will happen when he's off tour. It's simply not part of the conversation right now. We just focused on that one performance," Bass said. "If we did anything like that, I think we would come up with something real special where we could actually call it 'The Reunion.'"

So, yeah, no NSYNC follow-up tour. Soryyyy guys.

Also, it sounds like the whole thing was pretty nervewracking. Chris Kirkpatrick said,

'When we were doing rehearsals in Miami I was scared to death.... I was so worried about not messing up for [Justin].... Honestly when he talked to us I thought we were just coming out with mic stands and singing, and when I came home from rehearsals my girl's like, 'Why are you drenched?'. I'm like, 'I'm too old for this.'"

Getting onto the stage sounded like it was fun, though-the *NSYNC boys (er, men) had to hide in the crowd.

"We had to perform in the middle of the arena, so there was no way of getting us out there without being seen. So they dressed us in big ole hoodies to pretend we were the stagehands. So we would push out the stage and do all the stagehand stuff until we got to the area and hid out beneath a staircase," Bass said. "That was my favorite part."
