One Direction's Liam Payne Breaks Silence, Says Taylor Swift's MTV VMA Harry Styles Dig Was "Lame", "Not Needed"

Taylor Swift and Harry Styles continued their feud/dramaz at the MTV VMAs on Sunday night, and bandmate Liam Payne has now broken the silence on Taylor's dig.

Taylor Swift and  One Direction's Harry Styles used to date, but now they hate each other, and Swift dug at Styles in her award acceptance speech.

Liam Payne, 19, hit out at Swift, saying her speech, which thanked the ex who 'inspired' her hit song "I Knew You Were Trouble" was not needed

Liam stuck up for his bandmate, saing, 'I just thought it was a bit not needed.

'I mean, you just won an award, it's like, concentrate on yourself.'

A repoter asked if he thought Taylor's behavior was 'lame', and he replied: 'Yeah.'

During the VMA's, Taylor Swift was watching Harry Styles take the stage at the MTV VMAs and got caught mouthing saying "Shut the f**k up" to her bestie, Selena Gomez.

Harry Styles and the rest of One Direction were on the stage to announce Gomez as the winner of Best Pop Video but decided to waste time thanking their own fans for being awesome.

The drama didn't end there, as great as the "STFU" moment was. As Taylor Swift accepted the award for Best Female Video, she made a dig at Styles again. "I want to thank the fans because I tweeted about this a lot, I really wanted this. I also want to thank the person who inspired this song because he knows exactly who he is, because now I've got one of these," she said.

The camera went straight to Styles, whose One Direction bandmates were laughing nervously.

Apparently, Taylor Swift and Harry Styles are never, ever, ever getting back together.
