Use the camera image method
In case you lost your phone, and you managed to transfer some of the images you have taken with into your computer, you can use those pictures to trace where your phone is. Drag the image into a Web page and a search tool would automatically locate other images which have been taken by the same device. If someone stole it, and he has already taken several shots using the phone and uploaded them online, you would know.
Use the account sign in method
If your phone was stolen, another option you may use is to log into your Web account such as Gmail, Dropbox, etc. Then, find the account's most recent 'actions' or 'accessed locations'. If the thief tried to log in to your accounts using the phone, that particular website would know, and it may even yield the current location or ISP of the perpetrator.
Use security apps and register in 'phone locator' sites
If you have signed up for security websites or downloaded security Android apps, those tools would help you find your phone faster. Some useful websites which can help you include Immobilize, CheckMEND, and Trace. There are also apps from the Play Store which can equip your phone with phone locator features.
