The first official photo of Ace Knute Johnson had a glossy debut after being published in this week's edition of US Weekly. Jessica Simpson's baby boy has been photographed together with 15-month-old sister Maxwell and the singer herself.

The only one that's missing in the blissful family photo is Simpson's fiancé, Eric Johnson. The couple's abode in Hidden Hills, California served as the photo's backdrop.

Sources say that US Weekly paid a hefty amount to secure a deal with the 33-year-old fashion mogul. Although US Weekly's official rep has no comment about the issue, an insider believes that Simpson received a staggering $100,000 to have her infant's photo appear on the magazine's cover. She even tweeted a photo of her proudly holding the magazine.

It was also US Weekly which first released the news about the singer's pregnancy leading to speculations that a good deal might have transpired.

In the magazine's interview, the pop star gushed about the joys of being a mother: "With two kids, we have our hands full, but every day is a new adventure. It's fun! I feel very at peace with being a mom."

Her equally famous sister, Ashlee Simpson, also shared her joy with the newest addition to their growing family: "He's incredible. He is a doll. I gotta say he's looking a little like Bronx. They're all little towheads. They're all so cute," she told E! News

Although Ace Knute's mother told Ellen DeGeneres last March that they were "extremely shocked" upon confirming her second pregnancy, her latest interview only proved her overwhelming excitement for the handsome newborn.
