Leah Remini Waltzes Her Way From Scientology To Dancing With The Stars, Alongside Valerie Harper, Snooki, Jack Osbourne

Leah Remini will be on Dancing With The Stars alongside Valerie Harper.

After her scientology shock, Remini came under scrutiny...but she will step-or dance-into the spotlight on the new season of Dancing With The Stars.

Remini, 43, had a very public split with the Church of Scientology this year. The King of Queens star accused church leaders of

Now, however, Leah Remini will be on DWTS alongside a lineup that includes Snooki, the critically ill actress Valerie Harper, and Christina Milian.

Dancing with the Stars, the  hit ABC reality competition will also reportedly include Glee star Amber Riley, professional football player Keyshawn Johnson, and NSYNC's JC Chavez.

Oh, and there's also Farrah Abraham, post porn video, plus Jack Osbourne and Eliabeth Berkley. It's quite a lineup.

Rumors are swirling that Remini may join the DWTS cast as well.

Scientology leaders accused Remini of being publicity-hungry...if she joins DWTS, it may add fuel to their fire.

Last month, Remini had a highly publicized split with the Church of Scientology. In part, she asked about the whereabouts of Shelly Miscavige, the wife of Scientology leader David Miscavige, and was seen as questioning his authority.

Remini allegedly got in trouble for asking about Ms. Miscavige's absence at Tom Cruise's 2006 wedding.

Former head of the Scientology Celebrity Center Tommy Davis told her, 'You don't have the [bleeping] rank to ask about Shelly.'

Remini was then subjected to five years of investigation and "thought modification" by Church authorities.

Last month, Leah Remini filed a missing persons report on Shelly to the Los Angeles Police Department. The LAPD said the report was "unfounded", as they were able to locate and meet with her.

A Church of Scientology called the incident a publicity stunt and "lunatic". They wrote in a statement, 'The Los Angeles Police Department has already stated that the case is closed and that the report filed by Leah Remini was unfounded.

'This ill-advised, ludicrous self-promotion and the media inquiries it generated caused an inexcusable distraction for the LAPD in an era when the time and resources of its officers are stretched thin each day.

'Creating this unnecessary burden for law enforcement was even more irresponsible given the entire episode was nothing more than a publicity stunt for Ms. Remini, cooked up with unemployed, anti-religious zealots who blog on the fringe of the Internet.

'Sadly, rather than move on with her life and career, Ms. Remini has aligned herself with a handful of untrustworthy, lunatic tabloid sources who obsessively harass the Church to advance their selfish agendas.'
