Juicy J Scholarship Video Twerking Contest from World Star Hip Hop and Three 6 Mafia star Juicy J has caused controversy. 

Juicy J released a tweet on Twitter announcing a Juicy J scholarship contest for fifty thousand dollars, which he later deleted.  However, he has partnered with the World Star Hip Hop website to do this twerking video scholarship contest.  He has also released a song.  Lyrics to Scholarship include: "Spin around the pole while you're doing splits/By the end of the night might earn you a scholarship."

Juicy J is currently best known for the song Bandz a Make Her Dance, and earlier was a member of Oscar-award winning group Three 6 Mafia.  Bandz a Make Her Dance has similarly raunchy lyrics, such as: "Bands a make her dance, bands a make her dance/All these chicks poppin' pussy, I'm just poppin' bands."  According to Rap Genius, "bands" mean banded up cash in quantities of one thousand or more.

Seeka the Teacha, leader of the Hip Hop Liberation Army, said about the Juicy J Scholarship Video Twerking Contest with World Star Hip Hop:: "I think it's degrading, especially for black women."

"Why would you want to get a scholarship for that when there's a lot of intelligent women out here who use their brains? Why don't you give them some money?...I know Juicy J [is] probably sittin' back laughing at all the women that's gonna come and shake they a-- for this money."

Colleague Abeena Afreeka said about the Juicy J Scholarship Video Twerking Contest with World Star Hip Hop: "As women, for starters, I believe it is imperative for us to come out in strong opposition to the CD, to the message, and begin to actively work to get in the ears of our young sistren."
