A viral video showing two Israeli soldiers dancing to South Korean singer Psy's 'Gangnam Style' with Palestinian soldiers caused them major trouble, UPI reported Thursday that the Israeli soldiers got suspended due to Psy's famous 'Gangnam Style.

According to reports the two Israeli soldiers were passing by a dance hall when in Jabar near Hebron when they heard the Palestinian partygoers were going wild and frenzied over 'Gangnam Style.' The two, due to excitement, rushed to the dance hall and joined the partygoers despite being on duty.

Shown in the dubbed "Israeli Gangnam Style" video are the soldiers dancing and partying with Palestinians while still wearing their uniforms and armed with guns. One of them can even be seen hoisted on top of the shoulders of a Palestinian, while enjoying the night away.

Although this may have been an ordinary event, due to the leaked video of the incident, which even became viral, the two Israeli soldiers' attention were called, and are now reportedly suspended, Huffington Post reported.

An Israeli Defense Force spokesman said on Thursday that the scandal should be treated seriously adding that "the soldiers exposed themselves to unnecessary danger and were disciplined accordingly."

In addition, the spokesman also pointed out the inappropriate behavior of the on-duty soldiers not only because they were dancing in uniforms with their guns and weapons still on hand, but it was due to the fact that they were dancing with Palestinians.

Examiner reported that the two Israeli soldiers involved in the "Israeli Gangnam Style" scandal have been suspended from their post by the Israeli Defense Force. Aside from that the Force also issued an investigation for the incident, to find out whether the soldiers were harmed or demeaned before, during and after the party.

Israel's Channel 2, the channel that aired the video on national TV, stated that the club where the "Israeli Gangnam Style" scandal had happened is frequented by Palestinians with pro-Hamas tendencies.

Hebron is famous for being the venue for violent battles and disputes between the Jews and the Palestinians.
