Making a stop at Hartford, CT, on Thursday night for Funny or Die's Oddball Comedy & Curiousity Festival, Dave Chappelle allegedly walked off stage after being heckled.
According to the Huffington Post, Chappelle abruptly exited stage left within only a few minutes of his set due to people in the front who wouldn't keep quiet.
Supposedly the noise even triggered Oddball's Twitter account to issue a request for the audience to bring down the volume.
"Hey Hartford! Pipe down and let Dave Chappelle do his thing!"

Following the show, onlookers who attended the event confirmed that certain people in the audience couldn't shut up for Chappelle. "Chapelle tried to work through the yelling," tweeted user mikewellman88. "And he told people he wasn't telling any jokes until they quieted down. And they didnt."

At one point Chapelle told the crowd “If someone sitting next you is yelling, punch them in the kidney”

Last year Chappelle had to go through the same thing in Texas during his summer tour that was said to be his big comeback.
