New Eminem Album 2013: Rick Rubin Produces 'Berzek' To Add Detroit Rapper For List Of Artist That Includes Jay-z, Johnny Cash, Kanye West And More

New Eminem album 2013: Rick Rubin is one of the producers on the highly anticipated album from the Detroit rapper that will be released on November 5 with the title "Marshall Mathers LP 2."

The new Eminem album will be produced by Dr. Dre and No I.D. The 2013 album will feature one of the most legendary producers in music history in Rick Rubin. He helped to create one of Jay-Z's most infamous hits with "99 Problems."

Now Rick Rubin has a chance to help create magic with the "Loose Yourself" artist. Eminem's first single, "Survival," was used as the promo-music for "Call of Duty: Ghosts" and now Rubin and Em came together to create his latest single, "Berzerk," which was released on Tuesday to Itunes.

Rick Rubin has collaborated with many artist: Beastie Boys, LL Cool J, Public Enemy, Run-D.M.C., Tom Petty, Black Sabbath, Trouble, Slipknot, Slayer, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Mars Volta, Jay-Z, Danzig, Dixie Chicks, Metallica, AC/DC, Aerosmith, Weezer, Linkin Park, The Cult, Neil Diamond, Mick Jagger, System of a Down, Rage Against the Machine, Melanie C, Audioslave, Sheryl Crow, The Avett Brothers, ZZ Top, Lana Del Rey, Adele and Kanye West.

"You're so close to something when you write it that it's hard to have any perspective on how it hits someone else. My job is to be a professional version of the outside world-a listener who is not attached to any of it, who doesn't know the story of how it was written, who doesn't know how it works, who doesn't know why this is important to you," Rubin told the Daily Beast.

Rick Rubin was a co-founder of Def Jam Records and is one of the most influential people responsible for making hip-hop a mainstream genre in the music industry.

Eminem is coming up to his eighth-studio album and Rubin is familiar with helping make magic with an artist much later than his early years in the industry. It was Johnny Cash that Rubin said he helped get out of a painted corner that he was in 25 years after his initial success.

"People who've made a lot of records tend not to make records as good as the ones they made when they're younger," Rubin continued. "When you're young and you get to make your first record, or your second record, it's the most important thing in your life."
