Adele Producer Rick Rubin Reignites Eminem New Album: Will He Contribute To Post-'21' Record? 'Rolling In The Deep' Diva To Drop Album Next Year

Adele may be "Rolling in the Deep" in the riches of her success, but will her new album have the same bravado of Rick Rubin-produced "21?"

After pushing Adele into super stardom with the album "21," Rick Rubin is back in the spotlight with Eminem's new album with his comeback single, "Berzerk."

"Let's take it back to straight hip-hop and start it from scratch," says Rubin according to Complex.

Rubin, who is executive producing "Marshall Mathers LP 2" for Eminem just like he did with Adele, is determined to make another hit album.

"You're so close to something when you write it that it's hard to have any perspective on how it hits someone else. My job is to be a professional version of the outside world-a listener who is not attached to any of it, who doesn't know the story of how it was written, who doesn't know how it works, who doesn't know why this is important to you."

But what has Adele been up to lately?

Currently, in addition to enjoying motherhood, Adele is busy promoting her new favorite band, The Civil Wars, as well as their self-titled second album.

After tweeting about The Civil Wars, the new album is expected to hit #1 on the charts, no doubt in part thanks to Adele and her 16 million Twitter followers.

But what about her new album?

According to Perez Hilton, Adele's new album will not hit until middle of 2014, but so far, a few tracks have been recorded. Whether Rick Rubin is involved or not, remains a question.

"Four tracks are finished in terms of writing and she's now laying down preliminary vocals with backing music and singers. The rest of the record will be done in LA. The feel is very much Adele going back to her roots, with some modern jazz and a couple of classic old songs," says a British newspaper.
