Grumpy Cat and Lil Bub met at the Internet Cat Video Meme Festival!  A cute video emerged of them grumpy-face to happy-face as the two feline icons made acquaintance.

According to the Walker Art Center, which sponsors the Internet Cat Video Meme Festival, "The world's first Internet Cat Video Festival was an unparalleled and unexpected success. A viral sensation online, sparking news headlines worldwide, the festival itself saw the convergence of 10,000 people-some in costumes, others cradling kitty companions, all feline fanatics-on the Walker's hillside one warm August evening last year. Since then the festival has spawned other lives: an international tour, continued interest from the media, and a bigger, better version for 2013."

Lil Bub and Grumpy Cat were a part of a new movie recently, entitled Lil Bub and Frenz.  The movie was produced by internet media site Vice and explores the world of internet cat video memes.

The 2013 version of the Internet Cat Video Festival happened at the Minnesota State Fair.  Many Internet Cat Video Memes were screened, but Grumpy Cat was chosen as the winner.  Hopefully when Grumpy Cat met Lil Bub, there weren't any hard feelings.
