Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Release Date: New Phablet To Be Released Four Days Before iPhone 5S, Leaks From UK Shows Actual Availability

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 release date will be a bit earlier than the iPhone 5S, according to speculations. Gotta Be Mobile reports that the Galaxy Note 3 has an expected release date of September 18 in the U.K.

Rumors, however, have been swirling that that Galaxy Note 3’s launch date in Berlin, Germany will be on September 4, a few days before the start of the famous IFA consumer electronics show. The focus of predictions recently have centered on the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 release, which is projected to arrive sometime in September. Some reports say that the gadget could land in the United Kingdom late September, while others rumor say it arrive in Taiwan on September 27th.

A new report from tech blog Engadget suggests that September 16th maybe more than just a pre-order date. A leaked document from carrier Three UK shows that the telecom company will offer the Galaxy Note 3 on September 16th. Gotta Be Mobile says that although it could refer to a pre-order date ahead of release later in the month, the fact that other devices are listed as “Now” could mean that it suggests an actual release.

These release dates show that the South Korean tech giant is aggressively making a move, and that the release of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will be faster, unlike the slow release times for the Galaxy Note 2 last year. Samsung has been working hard to shorten the time frame between announcement and actual release. If in case the Galaxy Note 3 is released on September 16th, it will be the shortest gap between announcement and actual release for the Note 3.

Apple, on the other hand, is expected to announce the release of the iPhone 5S on September 20, a mere four days after the release of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3.

Aside from the Apple iPhone 5S, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will face competition from Sony’s Xperia Z Ultra and HTC One Max.

The new phablet by Samsung is rumored to have a 5.68-inch 1080 display, quad-core processor, 13 MP camera, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and brand new S-Pen features.
