HTC One Mini Accessories: Bluetooth Tag To Track Handset And Mini + Headset Coming Soon, Billed ‘Strongest Smartphone Accessories’

HTC One Mini accessories are coming to town and The Verge is reporting that HTC new add-ons to the handset is the strongest they’ve seen for a mobile device. Owners of HTC One Mini will have available soon Fetch and Mini+ for their smartphones.

Fetch is a Bluetooth tag that helps you keep track of your phone, keeping you from losing it or misplacing the all too important device we seemingly can’t live without. All the user needs to do to locate the phone is to press a button on Fetch to make a paired phone ring. HTC says that it has a maximum range of a little under 50 feet, but the figure noted The Verge would likely be reduced if its indoors.

Aside from locating an HTC One Mini, Fetch can also be paired to make your phone beep if it’s left behind. The use of low-power Bluetooth 4.0, HTC said that the Fetch’s battery is good for six months on a single charge. The price of the accessory is still unknown but according to British retailer Clove, it had it listed for pre-order at 24.99 pounds or around $39. HTC told The Verge that it’ll be available before the end of the year.

Another accessory that the company debuted is the Mini+, a Bluetooth headset in the shape of a phone. It’s a sequel to the original Mini and allows the user to take and place calls using smartphone’s connection through an NFC or Bluetooth. The Mini+ also has a laser pointer and can be configured to control TV via an app. Aside from these functions, the Bluetooth headset can act as a remote control for MediaLink HD Streamer. The device is expected to be released by winter.
