Taylor Swift And Ed Sheeran Romance Rumors Possibly True? ‘Lego House’ Singer Defends Swift For Her MTV VMAs F-Bomb

As opposed to what people are thinking, Taylor Swift's candid yet snarky remark during the MTV Video Music Awards 2013 does not pertain to Harry Styles or the British boy band One Direction.

In a recent press conference, Swift's buddy Ed Sheeran revealed that the 'I Knew You Were Trouble' singer was misinterpreted when she said "Shut the f*ck up" which was unfortunately caught on camera.

Right after 1D member Zayn Malik made a little speech about the band's New Yorker fans, the female singer was then caught saying the infamous remark to her newfound best friend Selena Gomez.

The 'A-Team' singer divulges what really happened that night. According to him, moments before Malik's speech, Gomez nervously told Swift that Miley Cyrus could possibly win the award for Best Pop Video. As a supportive best friend, Swift found the idea ridiculous which prompted her to say, "Shut the f*ck up." Justin Bieber's ex-girlfriend eventually bagged the award that night.

Sheeran also added that Swift knew that she "messed up" upon realizing that her words have been misinterpreted.

Nonetheless, no one can attest that the blonde chart-topper's gratitude speech for her 'Best Female Video' Moonman award pertains to Styles.

Both Sheeran and Swift sparked romance rumors after their 'Everything Has Changed' collaboration.
