Allen Iverson Child Suport: Ex-Wife Tawanna Wants $1.2 Million NOW To Put Into Trust Fund For Their Five Children

Allen Iverson child support update: Ex-wife Tawanna Iverson wants $1.2 million immediately from the former NBA star.

According to TMZ, Tawanna Iverson wants this advanced child support because Allen has refused to pay on numerous occasions.

Courts ordered Allen Iverson, the former Philadelphia 76er and possible future hall of famer to pay $8,000 a month for the couple's five children in child support payments.  Tawanna Iverson has had to drag him to court on numerous occasions to get the money from him and this time she wants more.

In July, they went back to court because A.I. owed $40,000 in back child support. The judge threatened to put him in jail if he didn't pay, so he did. She is now trying to force Iverson to pay all child support from now until October 2026, which is when their youngest turns 18.

Tawanna wants it all in one lump sum. She wants to put it into a trust fund for their children, according to TMZ.

A career that ended in 2011, started in Philadelphia when he was drafted by the 76ers in 1996. He officially retired in August. During his career, he won the NBA Most Valuable Player Award in 2001. He was the Rookie of the Year in 1996 and a four-time scoring champion. During his career, he was one of the most popular players as he made the all-star team 11 times.
