Upcoming Android Tablets 2013: Hands-On Shots Of Sony Xperia Z Ultra Shows Great Image Detail, Lack Of Flash May Disappoint Some

It looks like Sony will be able to deliver a top-notch Android tablet that will compete with the best in the market. But first, we better take a look at its photography capabilities.

Tech website GSM Arena, who is currently reviewing the device, has posted several shots taken from the Sony Xperia Z Ultra tablet.

Most of the pictures showed great quality even when zoomed in. However, it would be worth noting that Sony's upcoming tablet only has an 8MP primary snapper. That would certainly be unimpressive for some Android users who prefer taking photos with their tablet devices.

Another downside of this tablet is its lack of flash. Indeed, it can take great shots whenever there is good lighting, but we can only imagine how bad those images were if they were shot in low-light conditions.

Aside from the camera specifications, the Xperia Z Ultra also boasts a 6.4" Triluminous display with a pixel density of 334ppi. Running under its hood are four 2.2Ghz Krait cores, as well as 2GB of RAM and Adreno 330 GPU for maximum performance.

Sony is expected to launch the device any time this month so it can compete with Samsung, LG, and Motorola's upcoming phablets.
