"New Girl" season 3 spoiler alert! Episode 1 will take Nick and Jess on a romantic vacation in Mexico, but a recently released promo shows that their new relationship will certainly hit some hurdles come season 3.

Unreality TV reports that the video for "New Girl" season 3 promo for episode 1 shows Nick and Jess drive to the border of Mexico, in which Nick exclaims: "This is where they made my underwear."

Nick also declares Mexico as "the most trouble-free place in the world," before he is spotted running away from the police across a beach and in another scene, he's dragged out of the ocean by three police officers, possibly due to not having his passport.

In the promo video for episode 1, which is called "All In," Jess has to return to their apartment alone to find as much money as possible and Nick's passport.

She tells Schmidt and Winston: "I need all the cash you have & Nick's passport."

As we saw in a trailer released last week, Jess, Schmidt and Winston make their way back to Mexico to bail Nick out, but he's having too much of a good time in "resort prison" - he can do anything he wants except from go to the toilet on his own, Unreality TV writes.

We also know Winston gets tasered by a Mexican police officer, Aceshowbiz.com reports.

Jake Johnson, who plays Nick, admitted in an interview with TVLine: "I think there's a good chance Nick and Jess are going to screw up  the Nick and Jess thing, but hopefully they don't screw it up too bad."

"New Girl" season 3 premiere date is on September 17.
