X-Men Days of Future Past Spoilers: Features Grand Reunion of ‘First Class’ And Original Trilogy: Biggest Mutant Festival Ever!

The latest installment of Marvel's X-Men franchise will feature mutants, mutants and more mutants. They'll be fighting robots, humans and mutants again as the new X-Men timeline introduced in "X-Men: First Class" combine with characters from the X Men trilogy.

When "X-Men: First Class" was introduced, people were confused. Was it a prequel or an entirely new reboot? Does that mean we will no longer see the cast from the original X-Men Trilogy (Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, etc)?

The questions were answered already, and Halle Berry, who reprises her role as "Storm," is very excited about the grand reunion of mutants in the film.

"I think it's big because there are so many X-Men in the movie," she said. "There's the young X-Men and there's the X-Men that started it all off. Just so many X-Men! You're gonna get to see some more than other, but they're all there. I think that adds to the bigness of it. The concept of the movie is pretty big too. The urgency is more important this time round. The threat is greater too."

However, the movie isn't all about the mutant festival. Halle Berry is also excited about her character's development: " But there's something very revealing and shocking about Storm in this movie that I thought was needed. There are some things you find out about her that I think give you much more insight into who she is."

Conflicts about the timeline were never a problem with comic book movies. Of course, the central character would be Wolverine, again played by Hugh Jackman. He will be sent to the past ("First Class" characters, set in 1973) to avert a historical event that changed the course of mutants and humans the world over.

"X-Men: Days of Future Past" will be released on May 23, 2014
