‘Dragon’s Crown’ Release Date In Europe Set For October 11; 2D Fantasy Action RPG From Vanillaware Coming To PlayStation 3 And PS Vita

According to a report from VG 24/7, Dragon's Crown release date for European countries will happen on October 11. Dragon's Crown will be available for Sony PS3, as well as PS Vita.

On July 25, Dragon's Crown was made available in Japan. Moreover, the 2D fantasy action RPG was released on North America through Atlus on August 6 for PlayStation 3 and Playstation Vita.

And just recently, aside from announcing Dragon's Crown release date for European countries, Vanillaware also shared that the game will be available in Australia and New Zealand day before its European release, on October 10.

Those who will order the game before Dragon's Crown release date will get an exclusive. This is because selected European retailers are offering an artbook for tall those who will pre-order Dragon's Crown.

The role-playing game is produced by George Kamitani, and as noted in the IGN's post, "game is designed to be an evolution of the "beat 'em up" action game genre while still retaining the company's trademark 2D hand-drawn graphic style.

Dragon's Crown is set in a medieval world of swords and sorcery and it supports up to 4 players. In search of adventure and fortune, gamers are set to travel the dangerous labyrinths and dungeons.

Dragon's Crown's cooperative mode includes local multiplayer or the use of PlayStation Network service from Sony, allowing players to share data of save games between PS Vita and PS3.

Dragon's Crown features six playable classes, each possessing unique strengths, weaknesses and skills. The classes are also customizable on a certain degree, based on the preferences on the players as they acquire more experience.
