One Year Old Shooting Horror in Brooklyn: A One Year Old was shot in Brooklyn after he was caught in gunfire meant for his father.  Now his father, Anthony Hennis, who has been arrested 23 times, is not cooperating with police to identify the killer.

Two shots went through the stroller, and a bullet went through the left side of the baby's head.

The child, named Antiq, was only 16 months old when he was shot and killed.

The one year old shooting horror in Brooklyn follows a baby shot in New Orleans.  Many who advocate for gun control are concerned about the recent shootings of children and babies.

Mayor Bloomberg responded to the one year old shooting in Brooklyn: "Every child in this city is precious, and every child deserves our protection.  And when a child dies, we all suffer and we all grieve. Today we are all grieving."

Police commissioner Ray Kelly talked about the one year old shooting in Brooklyn and the father of the victim: "Mr. Hennis has not been cooperative with us."

"He has not answered questions.  We're still trying to, obviously, determine his contacts - and he has an extensive arrest record, so we are looking into his relationships."

Police Commissioner Ray Kelly said: "We have some leads, and those leads are being aggressively followed."

According to the New York Daily News, neighborhood activist Tony Herbert said about the one year old shooting in Brooklyn: "We know exactly who the shooter is. We are making efforts to bring him in."

Lenore Steel said of her grandson Anthony Hennis and the shooting of one year old Antiq in Brooklyn: "He can't live without that baby.  He's always with him. That baby is his life."

"He said, 'Grandma, my baby got shot!' " Steel recalled. "The baby was bleeding."

"He liked looking at SpongeBob,' " she said. "He liked Dora (the Explorer). He loved to eat. He was so adorable since he started walking."
