Free Games For Xbox Live Gold Members: ‘Tom Clancy’s Rainbox Six: Vegas’ Available For 0 Microsoft Points On September 16-30

One of the free games for Xbox Live Gold members this September is Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas.

But before the subscribers of Xbox Live Gold get to enjoy the game for O Microsoft Points, they can first download Magic 2013 for free. Magic: The Gathering - Duels of The Planeswalkers 2013 is also one of the two free games for Xbox Live Gold members announced by Microsoft for this month.

Magic 2013 is free until September 15, from its original price tag worth $9.99 According to a post from IGN, the game received an 8.5 rating in its review.  Though it is not the latest version of the game available (with Magic 2014 available since June), the game is "still an accessible way to get into Magic."

Once the deal for Magic 2013 ends in the middle of the month, it will be replaced with the other free game for Xbox Live Gold members this September called Rainbow Six: Vegas from Ubisoft. The regular price of the Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas, which is $19.99, will return at the end of this month. The post from IGN noted, "Although it's now almost seven years old, Vegas remains a strong game with an entertaining cooperative multiplayer mode in Terrorist Hunt."

Meanwhile, instead of getting Rainbow Six: Vegas as one of the free games for Xbox Live Gold members, subscribers in South America will get Shadowrun.

There will be two free games for Xbox Live Gold members each month, as part of Microsoft's "Games With Gold" promotion.  This free offering was first introduced during the E3 2013.

Free games for Xbox Live Gold members are yours to keep, even if your subscription in the program expires.
