Porn Star Rod Daily has tested positive for HIV, the virus that causes AIDS.  The porn industry is already shut down due to a previous positive HIV test from performer Cameron Bay.   

Daily announced his HIV status update on Twitter and said that it was a recent infection.  He used his Twitter stream to educate people about the possibility of HIV infection: "I have also learned that people can be medicated so well they test negative.  Scary, the test everyone relies on."

Daily also pointed out that "My antibodies just showed up on a test this week which is scary because they didn't a week ago."

There are questions about whether Sydney Leathers got HIV, the virus that causes AIDS, from porn star Cameron Bay?  Sydney Leathers may have been exposed to HIV, the virus that causes AIDS, through her recent porn performance.

Cameron Bay recently tested positive for HIV and caused a porn industry shutdown.  A porn performer who had unprotected sex with Bay since her last clean bill of health also had unprotected sex with Sydney Leathers, the sexting partner of Anthony "Carlos Danger" Weiner who is capitalizing on her connecting with the politician through pornography.

According to X-Biz, the performer who tested positive for HIV, causing the porn industry shutdown, is female and new to the industry.  It is believed that she got HIV from other sexual activity, not while on a porn industry set.

Diane Duke, executive director of the porn industry trade group the Free Speech Coalition, told the Associated Press in an e-mail: "The moratorium will be lifted once the risk of transmission has been eliminated"

Duke added: "Since 2004 there have only been two cases of performers testing positive for HIV and neither of those situations involved on-set transmission.

The current situation would bring the number to three cases in nearly 10 years, not just in Los Angeles but nationwide."

Hopefully Sydney Leathers won't be another case of HIV due to sharing partners with porn star Cameron Bay.  Sydney Leathers is also new to the industry, as her pornography career was spurred by her connection to Anthony "Carlos Danger" Weiner.

A similar porn industry shutdown happened last year due to a syphilis outbreak.

Porn star Mr. Marcus was discovered to have altered his positive syphilis test so that he was able to continue performing.

The porn industry imposed a shutdown while actors were treated and tested for the sexually transmitted disease.
