Kim Kardashian's Mother Kris Jenner Was Hated By FOX Employees; 'She Would Show Up On Set Hung Over'
Although Kris Jenner is unhappy her show is over for good, members of the FOX production team are happy to see her departure.
“We could not wait for the end of the show’s six-week trial period,” a member of Kris’ production team told Star magazine.
The same insider accused her of showing up to work like a drunken diva.
“Working with Kris was absolutely unbearable," said the crew member. "She would show up on set hung over and demand her beauty team to fix her up and make her look stunning.”
In addition, Jenner allegedly kept all the extra audience gift bags for her family instead of giving it to the staff like other talk shows.
“Kris would give goody bags to the audience, but instead of giving the crew some too, which is typical, she insisted that she take them home to her family. Talk about tacky!” the insider revealed. “And at the wrap party, Kris gifted the crew with fleece blankets that looked like they came directly off an American Airlines plane — they didn’t even have the show’s logo embroidered on them!”
According to Radar Online, the mother of 6 was told, “There is no chance the talk show is going to get a green light from FOX. The ratings were averaging an abysmal 0.8 and advertisers were less than enthusiastic about it.”
That same source admitted that the final show that featured Kanye and a picture of North West did boost ratings. However, it didn't make a everlasting impression.
“Kris did get a ratings bump for her last show when Kanye West revealed the first baby pic of daughter, North West, with Kim," said the source. "But that was a one time shot in the arm and it wouldn’t be indicative of what the ratings trend would be.”
The source also suggested that not everybody is that eager to view another hour long show solely about the Kardashians.
“It’s a very crowded market and Kris didn’t do anything to set herself apart from the field. Believe it or not, most of America doesn’t want to hear about the Kardashian’s for an hour everyday.”
The insider divulged that Jenner's show was beat out by a panel-format talk show called "The Real." The continuation of this new show will be announce most likely on Friday.
